My mom had been traveling for over 24 hours, found out her bags didn't make it, got in the car with Peter and me at the airport, and we had a wreck maybe a mile away from my apartment. Everyone was fine, although I didn't have my seatbelt on and still have a bruise on my leg 2 weeks later! Somehow in all the confusion, though, we still managed to get a picture sitting in the car in the traffic jam we caused!
Her luggage made it later that night, and it was like Christmas! Chick-fil-A, Jan Sherard's bread, and Mexican food!

Rome! SkyEurope had a great deal on flights to Rome during their Happy Hour one day and my mom got us free rooms at a great hotel right in the middle of Rome. Fun trip!

I'm so glad your mom got to come over and visit...I am sure you two enjoyed your time together. It still cracks me up that she brought Chick-fil-A over there...such a great idea. I would definitely go through withdrawals if I wasn't about to have Chick-fil-A for that long.
