A few weekends ago I met my college roommate Cari in Budapest to cheer her on as she raced in the triathlon World Championship. Or something like that. Somehow that actually doesn't seem crazy random at all. If you know Cari at all, I'm sure you understand. It was so fun to get out of town and hang out with an old friend for a few days!
Early on race day- we left the apartment around 4:45! This whole
triathlon thing is pretty intense.

A gross sweaty hug. At this point I was yelling,
"Cari, you smell sooo bad!"
So fun to see her though!
Too bad I can't join her for the next one in Hawaii.

You are such a great friend to get up that early and see her! I hope you had a great birthday. I dont know if my card made it.. I didn't have time to get to the post office so I just stuck a bunch of stamps on it.. hope it was enough :)
Eww, I would have been yelling too if someone that just finished a triathalon came up and hugged me! Hope you are doing well!
